Getting Started

What is Company Data?

Company Data is a comprehensive platform for accessing and analyzing Belgian enterprise information. It aggregates data from multiple official sources to provide you with detailed insights about companies operating in Belgium.

Key Features

Enterprise Search: Look up companies by their enterprise number (KBO/BCE)
Person Search: Find individuals associated with enterprises
Financial Data: Access financial statements and key ratios
Organizational Structure: View administrators, shareholders, and relationships
Export Options: Download data to Excel for further analysis

Searching

Enterprise Search

Search for Belgian enterprises using their enterprise number (KBO/BCE number):

Select "Enterprise" from the search dropdown
Enter the 10-digit enterprise number (e.g., 0123456789)
Press Enter or click the search icon

Tip: You can enter the number with or without dots (0123.456.789 or 0123456789)

Person Search

Find persons associated with enterprises:

Select "Person" from the search dropdown
Enter the person's first name and/or last name
Press Enter or click the search icon

Note: Person data is linked to addresses. The same person at different addresses may appear as separate entries.

Enterprise Information

Summary Tab

The summary tab provides an overview of the enterprise:

Basic Information: Name, enterprise number, juridical form
Contact Details: Address, phone, email, website
NACE Codes: Business activity classifications
Key Metrics: Quick view of financial indicators
Raw Data: Access to source data from CBE and NBB

Financials Tab

View and analyze financial statements:

Select from a list of filed financial statements
View detailed account data in a searchable table
Filter data using the quick filter search
Download all financial data to Excel

Ratios Tab

Analyze financial ratios and performance indicators:

Liquidity Ratios: Current ratio, quick ratio
Solvency Ratios: Debt-to-equity, equity ratio
Profitability Ratios: ROE, ROA, profit margins
Trend Analysis: Compare ratios across multiple years

Associates Tab

Explore relationships and organizational structure:

Network Visualization: Interactive graph of relationships
Administrators: Natural persons and legal entities
Shareholders: Ownership structure and percentages
Click on enterprise numbers to navigate to related companies

Establishments Tab

View all establishments and branches of the enterprise with their addresses and contact information.

Data Sources

CBE - Crossroads Bank for Enterprises

The CBE provides official registration data for all Belgian enterprises:

Enterprise and establishment information
Legal forms and juridical situations
NACE codes (business activities)
Addresses and contact information
Denominations (trading names)

NBB - National Bank of Belgium

The NBB provides financial and organizational data:

Annual financial statements
Detailed account information
Administrators (natural persons and legal entities)
Shareholders and ownership structure
Mandates and participations

Important: Not all enterprises are required to submit financial statements to the NBB. Small enterprises and certain legal forms may be exempt from filing requirements.
